¡Oh, Rosa, estás enferma!
El gusano invisible
Que vuela por la noche,
En la aullante tormenta ,
Ha encontrado tu lecho
De alegría escarlata;
Y su secreto amor
Te consume la vida.

O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,
Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.
El tiempo pasa...... la buena poesia, incólume, permanece
